I enjoyed meeting so many wonderful preschool educators at the Professional Development Day at George Mason University!  As promised, here is the list of books that were used in the seminar. Feel free to print out this list for future reference. 🙂 — Mariella

Seven Little Hippos by Mike Thaler — rhyming counting book

One Lonely Sea Horse by Saxton Freymann & Joost Elffers — really neat book with sea animals made from veggies

Over in Australia:  Amazing Animals Down Under by Marianne Berkes — An adaptation to the song, “Over in the Meadow” — with an Australian twist!  Great counting & rhyming book!

Over in the Forest:  Come and Take a Peek by Marianne Berkes — Another beautiful rhyming & counting book based on the song, “Over in the Meadow.”  Marianne’s books are very entertaining!
