Hi, Everyone!  I’m so glad that you were able to attend the Math’s a Beach Seminar on February 14th at the VAECE Conference in Reston, Virginia.  Here is the list of  “Graphing Questions to Use With Your Students.”

Questions for Graphing:

What is your favorite type of apple?

What is your favorite type of pizza?       What toppings do you like on your pizza?

Graph the Lucky Charms pieces.

What is your favorite food?

What is your favorite ice-cream flavor?

What is your favorite fruit?

How many students have the letter, “A” in their name?

How many children have blue eyes, brown eyes, hazel eyes?

Graph eye color, hair color, color/type of shoes

What is your favorite song?

What does your mom or dad do?  (their job)

How many people are in your family?

What pets do you have?

What is your favorite construction vehicle?

What is your favorite video game?

What is your favorite shape?

What is your favorite story?

What is your favorite exercise?

What is your favorite farm animal?

Weather — Chart the weather every day.  At the end of the month, graph the # of days of sunny, cloudy, rainy…days of weather.
